Message: | What a neat site! I didn't really 'just surf on in' - I came across a link to your site from a blog.
The first thing that caught my eye was the shelf of books and then your comments about being gay, etc. Being a teacher/tutor etc. and a packrat when it comes to books and reading, I just kept on looking around.
Haven't explored it all yet, but thought I'd sign in and let you know I'm enjoying myself immensely.
Thanks!

Message: | I have long been an admirer of the work of Henry Tuke. To stumble upon your collection was a real high point in my admiration of his art.
I want to say "Many thanks" for the work in collecting his material. I was particularly impressed with the amount of work you have found that cannot be located in real life.
I intend to bookmark your site, and hopefully, revisit it frequently.
Thanks once again.

A wonderful, warm, caressing kind of home. I wanted to take off my shoes and cool my feet on your rooms' floors, then just curl into a corner and take a nap. But as a first time visitor, I thought decorum was indicated, so I settled for a chair in your library to read your stories.
Thank to you both you for being such good hosts. I surely intend to return again and again.

Your site load very quickly on my end. Page one loaded in about a second. Not bad with all the graphics. I don't have much time right now for a big critique but all in all it looks good,
Take care and have fun.

Your home page makes me feel as if I were in a real home. You obviously put a lot of thought and care in the design and layout. Your personality is ubiquitous, which makes your home-page very enjoyable. Also, the access time is very quick and there are links to almost everything.
I think your homepage is a great success and I whish you all the best in further developing it.

Message: | Every time I enter your home I fall in love with it all over again. I spend all of my time reading and reading. . . it is a very peaceful house filled to the rafters with your creative soul.
You are a Master builder. I love to peek around the nooks and crannys of your home just to see what new delight is tucked in this corner and who is seated on the wonderful mahogany chair in that corner in your library. Shall I visit a guest room and see which soul was so enchanted by your Home that they could not bring them-selves to leave?
I shall come often. . . and I know the welcome mat will always be on the stoop. This house makes my heart smile.

Message: | Peace be upon you, Matt & Andrej Koymasky:
I read a news article online tonight entitled, "Victimization of gays get little attention in the media" (published by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel on March 21st). The article mentioned the names of several gay men (some gay youths) murdered and nationally reported: Simmie Williams Jr. (age 17), Matthew Shepard (age 21) and Lawrence King (age 15). There are several other gay hate crime victims I am familiar with that were not mentioned: Rashawn Brazell (age 19), Michael Sandy (age 28) and Dwan Prince (survived with traumatic brain injury). It went on to mention several names with which I wasn't familiar. One of the unfamiliar names was Steen Keith Fenrich (age 19). A web search for information on this man led me the page in your Memorial Hall devoted to his memory.
The account, on your site, of the discovery of his body and the condition of his remains was particularly brutal and heartbreaking. It made me shed hot tears.
I was moved enough to contact you. I wish to express my deepest gratitude for the huge public service you provide with your website. I'm also proud of the two of you for publicly announcing your private love and commitment to each other.
May the ONLY BEING bless and keep you both.
Brightest blessings to you.
Mr. N. Abdul-Wakil

Message: | Hi Fellas,
Just a note to tell ya how wonderful your site is. It is now added to my favorites. I stumbled upon it after watching "And The Band Played On" and looking up some of the folks in the movie. I am not aware if you are aware of the "wikipedia syndrome" but I have it and continued to click link after link till I ended up on your site. I am so impressed with the collection of... of... well EVERYTHING that you have amassed.
As a victim of a gay bashing, I was left with a leg broken in three places a broken back and hand a partially collapsed lung and cuts and scratches all over. After a month in the hospital and 6 months in rehab I am able to walk with a cane. Knowing this I should never have read your posts on those who we have lost because I cried, thank God my parents do not have to know that pain.
I wish you the best and would love to be made aware of any updates to the site!
Thanks,
Matthew |

Message: | Hello:
I have visited your fine site several times and have really enjoyed the early photo erotic art you provide.
I have also started enjoying your stories, they add a nice dimension to the visual element of your site. It is very difficult to find quality examples of gay erotic imagery on the net (sure there are some commercial sites but they focus mainly on contemporary stuff.)
Do you know of any sites which portray images made during the prewar German era or the prewar Parisian gay scene for example?
Anyway, thanks for what I have already enjoyed.
