Hello to the two of you.
First, let me thank you from the deepest parts of myself, for permitting me the endless hours of pleasure, and often pain, while reading your extraordinary stories. Like all things on the internet, I chanced upon your site through Nifty, and I feel blessed as a result.
Your stories are of a calibre that is as rare as the most elusive of gems. As I was introduced to the works, I kept saying to myself "I must write to Andrej & Matt, and tell them the effect their stories have upon my very being", but then I would find another story and get enticed, so my letter was never forthcoming. However, today, having just finished "The Greatest Riches" (the last chapter of "Finally Together"), I can no longer hold back.
I chanced upon your writings, and, as is invariably the case with my life, when I most needed to experience them. It is so interesting the effect they had on me (and continue to.....there are lots to read yet). Yes, they have provided me with a huge amount of comfort when my heart and spirit have been sorely wounded.
In a nutshell, they have helped bring me back to myself, for they, your stories, regardless of their subject matter, have a fundamental core, where they view the relationship between two men as almost sacred... well, that is how I read them. You are the first writer I have ever read who expresses male love in the way I feel it. So even though in many ways I feel alone presently, it is wonderful to know that I am not alone, and that if there are no others I can find who think and feel as I do where I am, you two exist and that is enormously reassuring.
I celebrate the relationship you have, and I respect enormously your love for one another as you have described. I am so happy that you found one another.
Thank you so much for sharing your lives and thoughts with me... you have given me hope where I had begun to think none existed.
Wishing you well,
Philip

Hi Andrej,
I see you are posting a story on Nifty again. I clicked on "Finally Together" and started reading it, without loking to see who had written it. Took me a couple of chapters before I realized that it was one of yours - and that I could read the whole book without waitikng for you to post a chapter from it every few days. (One of the perks of being a 'regular' on your website.)
I enjoyed it very much - and was glad that the two men fainlly did manage to get together, as promised by the title. Thanks so much for letting us know about it - and for writing it in the first place.
While I was on Shelf No. 3, I looked to see what else was there, and decided to read "Boy San". I really liked that too - in fact I like all your stories, as you know, but expecially the Japanese ones. I find it interesting that even though the Japanese are fairly accepting of gay relationships, nevertheelss, even they are not really ready to be open about them. I take it that you experienced this at first hand while you were there.
So I am looking for other things to read at the moment. I am sure I will find something delicious on one of the other shelves. When I have done so, I'll let you know.
Until then, all my best wishes - and warmest hugs.
Alastair

Thank you so very much for allowing me to read you wonderful stories.
Since I have received my password, etc., I have read "Alain's Diary", "Fabrizio's First NO", "Finally Together"and "A Short Escape". The thing that I find so very moving is the wonderful warmth of your stories and the happiness that is conveyed in them. When reading, there are moments when I become so emotionally overwhelmed that I have tears in my eyes. I guess it is because I am a sick old man, or maybe it is my Italian genes that make my emotions surface and so enjoy what you have written.
I have read some of your stories in the past, and though I look forward to more translations, I am sure that I will re-read many of the stories that I have already read. I can read Italian to some extent, but it is not as easy as reading in English for me.
In closing, let me again say "Mille grazie!" You have a true and beautiful talent and I am so happy to have found your web site again.
Most sincerely, Eugene
