1 Andrej,

Fabrizio's First No! Great eye-opening story. Andrej you have very aptly shown the connection between certain traits in our personalities. Some connections can be tragic such as being very sensitive coupled with a desire to please others. Together these two give "birth" to a third - a low self-esteem.

But is it not wonderful how LOVE can truly conquer all if only we accept it?

Hugs,
Your friend and fan,
Jim

PS: Sometimes we have to say 'No' to find a 'Yes'!

1 I just recently finished Fabrizio's First "No" - a nicely written story about the disease to please (a phrase we use to describe people who can not say no. they frequently do things they really don't want or they know that it is inappropriate but are more concerned about disappointing the requestor.)

I was glad to see that Fabrizio developed a spine before the end. In some ways it reminded it me of my own youth. I felt very unattractive and often found myself with partners I was not really attracted but they asked. Fortunately I also grew out of that.

I also enjoyed "Writing from the Prison". A much more complex romance with love found in a very unexpected place. I would like to know what happened to Mimmo after Lorenzo was released. Just from the little we know about him, he seems an interesting character. A bit of what I call a fatalistic optimist. Always expecting things to go badly but still hoping they would not.

Thank you for your efforts. They have brought pleasure to my life.

1 I read my first of your stories Fabrizio's First "No" and then "The King of Sitges". The stories are sensual and stimulating. I agree with another of your readers that you should see if you could get them published. If you do please let me know.

1 Dear Andre:

I like your style, and your logical plot development in "Fabrizio's first No!"

Fabrizio is a sensitive, likeable person. We empathise with him; that is why his low self-esteem (which drives his subjugating of his needs to those of others) is so heartbreaking.

At story's end Fabrizio has a faint glimmer of how self-destructive his inferiority complex can be. Let us hope that the newer, wiser, Fabrizio does not relapse into seeing what he needs to believe is Guglielmo's love for him as something he must prove himself worthy of, or some altar at which to sacrifice his own self value.

1 Hi Andrej and Matt

Thanks so much for the inspirational website - and Andrej I am really enjoying your story about Fabrizio! He could so have been me when I was a teenager, if I had had the courage to go in the direction of my secret desires. As it is, my secret desires only broke out of their prison when I was older, and married! Now I have a regular lover who is a wonderful guy and so good to me. I am still with my wife, and I still keep my secret. Well somehow we all have to live with what we are.

Thank you for all your work on the website, the stories and the wonderful picture selection. There are many happy hours ahead!

Love to you both

Neil

1 Thank you so very much for allowing me to read you wonderful stories.

Since I have received my password, etc., I have read "Alain's Diary", "Fabrizio's First NO", "Finally Together"and "A Short Escape". The thing that I find so very moving is the wonderful warmth of your stories and the happiness that is conveyed in them. When reading, there are moments when I become so emotionally overwhelmed that I have tears in my eyes. I guess it is because I am a sick old man, or maybe it is my Italian genes that make my emotions surface and so enjoy what you have written.

I have read some of your stories in the past, and though I look forward to more translations, I am sure that I will re-read many of the stories that I have already read. I can read Italian to some extent, but it is not as easy as reading in English for me.

In closing, let me again say "Mille grazie!" You have a true and beautiful talent and I am so happy to have found your web site again.

Most sincerely, Eugene
