1 Now that the story "Free Commune of Silvana" has been fully posted, I wanted to write and thank you for a wonderful story. I wanted to thank you as well for finishing it. I sometimes won't start multi-part stories because I don't want to wait months and months for it to be finished. I know my readers don't like it and I never do that to them.

The story was delightful, not only for the "breadth" of history portrayed but the view of the changes over time. You tackled something difficult with deftness and it was a joy to read.

1 Dear Andrej,

Thank you for what I have seen so far. I have been enjoying the Free Commune of Silvana stories on Nifty and these have led me to your site.

I presume Silvana is entirely fictitious? Or is there some real record of such a community? I long for a society where domestic arrangements are not subject to undue censure, where a 50 yo can live with a 18 yo and not have to fight for acceptance! Where can I go to find one?

It is an amazing story , and such detail! The story of Honored and Constant in Chapter 5 is particularly moving for me, and the idea (from there and earlier) that one relationship can be replaced with another, even from hetero to homo (or vice-versa) is interesting and no doubt dangerous to the fabric of society as we know it!

1 Andrej,

So far I have read "Chipi - A.D. 2574"; "The Closureds Order"; "Cosmolab"; "Counting to 10 (hypnosis)"; and The Free Commune of Silvana. What I can only say about all the works is that I absolutely love them and think that they are brillant. The way you have the gay male winning or coming out great in the end always make me smile. I especially like how in many of your stories you jump time and fill in the information in the end (like you did in the "Closureds Order"). Its just great.

If I was required to tell you something about them that I did not like, well it would have to be when you have a major character die. I don't like that, despite the fact that they are usually well-off, comfortable, well-loved, and old; I still don't like it. Other than that, sometimes I find that the sex scenes do not flow with the rest of the section, and that I can't always tell what is exactly happening in a particular scene. Besides those tiny things (which as you can probably guess will not cause me to stop reading) I find your writing style to be great and the stories wonderful.

It is stories such as this that I wish would be in the Gay section of a local book store. It has come to the point that I don't even look anymore in the physical store, knowing full well that there are probably a dozen gread stories on the internet that I can read. Anyway, sorry to go off on a tangent like that.

Just so you know, I found your writings first on the Nifty archive. That is, in fact, where I first read the "Closureds Order". I followed the link to your site where I immediately lost my head cause of all the great amounts of fiction that I can read.

So, in closing, you are a very good writer whose stories and places cause me to fall in love with them the moment I start reading it. The endings are wonderful but so is the journey.

A Happy Reader,
Carl
