Hi, Andrej:
I finished your story of love and courage in the 19th century court of Jakobus Rex, The Gilded Cage. If only we all had a brother like Friedrich, life for gay men would be easier by an order of magnitude. Actually, my only two complaints about your otherwise charming story are:
1) I wished it had been longer so that I could have relished the detail and sumptuous life of the court.
2) I would like to have seen more interaction between the two royal brothers (of course I do not mean sexually). I believe that your already good story, would become truly exceptional if you had fleshed out Friedrich's character a bit more. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed Gilded Cage.
By the way, is there any chance that Stefanie's fiancé was the unfortunate Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria?
Once again, thank you for all your work in creating these superb stories of gay love.
Kind regards,
Max

Hi Andrej;
The Gilded Cage! Yes - I found your newly translated masterpiece very quickly!
I Love this tale! You must get tired of me saying the same thing after each one? Hahahaha! I can't help it - they are All Masterpieces!
I Really liked the political intrigue in this one. Of course it also a treat when the "good guys" win. I love the romance as I do with all of your tales.
I also liked the close relationship between the siblings Jakobus, Friedrich & Stephanie. The honour, loyalty, respect and love between friends is Always inspiring & important to me, as a reader, that you include in so many of your stories. In "The Gilded Cage" these were Very important to the health and happiness of Jakobus & the union of Jakobus & Reinhardt.
I Absolutely loved it when King Friedrich II sent the Archbishop to Chile, the Queen Mother to a nunnery and he dismissed all the ministers that had not supported his brother.
Thank you for a Very enjoyable Saturday.
Gary
