"Lesson of Life" is a short but beautiful story, which describes in a masterly way the strong relationship of love of two teenagers close to age. It could also be the setting in Sardinia that made me love this story, as I visited Sardinia just last year, and it has been a wonderful holiday.

Dear Mr. Andrej,
I have to tell you that in your novel "Lesson of Life" I was a little surprised that an orderly tutor would take advantage of the boys in the country. You, as usual, do not make judgments, describe facts and let the reader judge. But if there was a lesson in life, it is not what the captain imparts to the boy, but that of the love that unites the two boys, in my opinion.

Andrej, Lesson of Life is one beautiful story. Especially dear to me as I too had a dear friend with whom together we explored sex and our sexuality. I then met an older mentor who taught me how to make love, which in turn I shared with my friend.
