Andrej,
"The Mystery Villa" is a highly symbolic story, very beautiful in my opinion, because it shows how long and difficult the path for the acceptance of oneself is. Nice idea that the villa with all its rooms was built, then demolished, by the protagonist of the story.
But after telling a story that could be the result of a dream, of a hallucination, you insert elements that make the protagonist say: it really happened! How is it possible? The fact is, as you say, that sometimes we are not able to truly grasp the mysteries of life. It makes no sense to want to rationalize everything, you tell us.
