"I am not the couch potato type, and I have never been too fond of the urban scene. The drugged out, steroid driven images I know from the traditional gay communities are postcards from another world. That world seems a little too fast for me, if not a little too shallow. I'd rather be spending my time in a quiet, one street town, checking out the rodeo and making the friendship of some underpaid, under appreciated loud-mouthed waitress who is hell bent on burning up the place with her spit fire tongue."
