Ellen Galford

Born in the US, she migrated to the UK in 1971, after a brief marriage in New York. She came out in the mid-1970s.
Ellen was involved in the Remember When project, recording Edinburgh's LGBT community history. She has worked variously as a book editor, copywriter, TV researcher, and freelance writer. She has lived in Glasgow, in London, and now lives in Edinburgh with her partner.
