Vicky GalindoVicky Galindo, born in Union City, California, started playing at age 4 when her dad coached her brother's baseball team. There was an extra jersey and he told her to go play. She went to high school at James Logan High School in Union City where she graduated in 2001. She then played for West Valley Junior College for the 2002 season.

Vicky is a bisexual athlete on the USA Softball Women's National Team where she plays third base and second base. She also plays for the Chicago Bandits of the National Pro Fastpitch league (NPF).

She played for the University of California, Berkeley Golden Bears from 2003-2005 and was an undergrad assistant in 2006. Galindo was on the US national team from 2005-2007. She was also the assistant coach for the San Jose State in 2007.

Vicky is featured in an article in The Advocate as one of the out lesbian, gay and bisexual athletes competing in the Beijing Olympics. She said she has had serious relationships with both men and women. When she came out to the team, she said they were unconditionally supportive.
