Born in Rome Italy, daughter to former Bond-girl Barbara Bach and stepdaughter to ex-Beatle Ringo Starr, she was brought up in Los Angeles, CA - where she realized that not all school teachers were nuns and that learning to defend herself on the public school playground was far more important than learning to speak English.

Francesca is now an L.A. based performer who contributed two songs for "See Jane Run", Game Show Host and I Don't Need Anybody. Sarah Thorp (SJR writer - director) also directed Francesca's latest video, "My Flight".

In "World Entertainment News", 12th of April, 2002, Francesca describes her new life with Portia de Rossi as "Blissfully happy". The article continues with:

Francesca has always known she liked women. She says, "I was a tomboy until I was 18. I had boyfriends, but I never understood the whole hoopla about sex. I could take it or leave it. Then, when I discovered girls, I was like, 'Aha, now I get it!' I was 19 years old. I knew I was a lesbian." Now Francesca and de Rossi are house-hunting and thinking of having a child. Francesca adds, "I'm ready to be a homebody and be a parent."
