Caroline Halliday

Poet
Lesbian poet, with a daughter born in 1980 whom she co-parents. Halliday's writings are informed by her position as a lesbian feminist. Her poetry has appeared in a collection edited by Lilian Mohin, entitled One Foot on the Mountain (1979), in Hard Words and Why Lesbians Have to Say Them (1982), Dancing the Tightrope (1987), in New British Poetry 1968-1988 (1988), and in Naming the Waves (1988), edited by Christian McEwen. Her own collection of poetry, Some Truth, Some Change appeared in 1983. In it she describes life as a lesbian feinist mother.
