Richard Hansen, longtime writer of the Lightning Strikes! column for Swerve, and a drag artist (Electra Storm) who has performed across North America. He won the title of "Entertainer of the Year" in 1998 and was elected Empress I of Winnipeg and All Manitoba in 2000. Writer of the poem/personal statement I Am (excerpts):
