Silas Howard, has been performing nationally and internationally with her band, Tribe 8, since 1991. Silas Howard has produced and performed in numerous performance pieces around the Bay Area since 1990. She was also co-founder/owner of the legendary Red Dora's Bearded Lady Café and Truckstop, an acclaimed performing arts venue.
Howard did the narrative voiceover for Blue Diary, Jenni Olsen's 16mm film short that has received numerous awards since its release in 1998. Silas Howard, along with Harry Dodge, wrote, directed, and co-starred in the film By Hook or By Crook (2001).
