Howard Hughes
(1905 - 1976) U.S.A.

Tycoon
Inheriting wealth from his father, who had patented a successful oil-drilling bit, he created a legendary financial empire. A skilled pilot, he manufactured and designed aircraft, and made the classic film Hell's Angels about airmen of WWI. Later succes include Scarface and The Outlaw. He was rumored to have had love affairs with both Cary Grant and Randolph Scott. From his middle years he was a recluse.
