Douglas Lambert



Douglas Lambert was born in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York. He was an actor, known for General Hospital (1963), Moonraker (1979) and The Hunger (1983). He died on December 16, 1986 in London, England.

He took to the microphone at midnight on 6th December 1979, the opening night of London's gay nightclub Heaven, to intone: "In the beginning there was darkness, and God said, 'Let there be light,' and there was light. God created Man and Man created Heaven".

Douglas Lambert died from AIDS -related complications in London. He was 50 years old.
