At 21 and fresh off a Washington, DC internship, Justin briefly returned to Wyoming to become the youngest campaign manager to run and win a statewide campaign in Wyoming.
Justin spent four years as an aide in the United States Senate. During his time on Capitol Hill, Justin worked on issues ranging from small business, labor and trade to healthcare, travel and tourism.
Justin Nelson, a former lobbyist for the American Academy of Ophthalmology and ex-aide to Sen. Craig Thomas (Republican -Wyoming), co-founded the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce in Washington D.C. in November 2002 with Chance Mitchell, an information technology consultant who has worked at the National Republican Campaign Committee.
