The Indianapolis native Tommy O'Haver moved to Los Angeles in 1991, after graduating from Indiana University with a B.A. in Journalism and a Certificate in Film Studies. In 1995 O'Haver graduated from USC School of Cinema-Television.
He made his directorial film debut with the critically- acclaimed Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss. The film premiered at the 1997 Sundance Film Festival, and was released in 1998. While attending the University of Southern California, O'Haver directed several short films, which appeared at the New York Film Festival, the British Film Institute and at Sundance.
He has written Archie for Universal Pictures based on the famous comic book, and is due to write a pilot for Greenblatt-Janillari Productions this fall.
