Paul received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University and is a graduate of the University of Santa Clara School of Law. He has held senior executive positions at MCA Inc., where he was influential in the development of MCA's Universal Studios Theme Parks.
Then Paul was with Atari, Inc., where he rose from Senior Vice President and General Counsel to President of the successful coin-operated games division. He has played a pivotal role in the development of the now multi-billion-dollar interactive entertainment industry.
He co-founded Sega GameWorks, an entertainment venture formed with Steven Spielberg and DreamWorks SKG, Seagram, Universal Studios and Sega Enterprises Ltd. He was also instrumental in the management of Cineplex Odeon cinemas, which fueled his move as a key player in the development of location-based entertainment.
Further solidifying his position as a leader in the online entertainment industry, he joined the iFilm Corp. as Co-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. As the head of the IFILM Network, Paul couples his vast industry experience with a filmmaker's passion to deliver a new breed of leadership to the Internet space.
Paul is #16 on the gfn.com (Gay Financial Network) 1999 list of the 25 most influential out gay and lesbian executives in corporate America. Paul currently serves on the boards of National Golf Properties (NYSE) and AMC Entertainment (American Exchange.)
