As founder of the Women's Project, Suzanne made the elimination of racism and sexism her raison d'etre. Suzanne is a longtime activist and a noted writer, publishing many essays and a book entitled Homophobia: A Weapon of Sexism. A second book is in the works and it is tentatively titled Liberation Politics in the Time of the Right.

Women's Project is an organizing and a political education project, in Arkansas, who's mission is to end racism and sexism. It is also a state wide project that also does national work, and focuses on, particularly, economics and violence against women and children.
