Philip Sallon
(1951 - living) U.K.
Club & fashion guru
Philip Sallon worked in the costume department of the Royal Opera House during the 1980's. He has also run the Mud Club and was responsible for organising the launch party for George's book.
He was the person who introduced the 16-year-old George O'Dowd (later to become singer Boy George) to London's freak/punk scene, and they are still friends and "sisters". Boy George wrote the song Ode to Attention Seekers (the opening song of his London musical Taboo) as a tribute to Sallon.
Philip, at present, lives alone in St. Johns Wood.
