Ex-Mayor of Aberystwyth, Wales. She had been married to David Taylor and had two daughters, but she and her husband were separated in 1980. In 1980 she started a relationship with Felicity Roberts, a mother of six children.
Jaci Taylor became a Plaid Cymru councillor in 1996. In May 2000 she was elected the mayor of Aberystwyth, and became the first openly gay woman in such a post in Britain. She announced that Felicity Roberts would be the mayoress.
