Patricia Nell Warren



Born in Montana, a Metis of Native American roots, Warren, was an editor at Reader's Digest. She published The Last Centennial under the pseudonym Patricia Kilina, but it was for The Front Runner that she became best known, and the novel has enjoyed a considerable following among gay men since its publication, having sold over 10 million copies in ten languages.

Warren, an openly lesbian writer, is now an adviser for YouthArts Project, an online publication for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender teens.

In December, 2006 Warren announced her candidacy for City Council in West Hollywood, CA.
