As the Vice President of Global Human Capital Strategy, Lissa is responsible for forming the Employer Brand Strategy for Cambridge Technology Partners, a company that builds cutting-edge e-business and e-integration solutions. Lissa developed the image for the company based on a set of core values applied to attract high-tech hires, as well as retain the best of employees internally.
Starting out in a Recruiting Director role, Lissa focused on equality in the hiring process with a goal of fostering complete diversity in her workplace. She developed a strategy that moved away from the traditional advertising-based recruitment and instead of placing notices in newspapers, at trade fairs and with agencies, she instead built a brand through community involvement and outreach to community events and programs including those organized by gay and lesbian advocacy and AIDS awareness and care-giving groups.
This involvement in turn led to exposure to interested people within the gay and lesbian community, ultimately resulting in hires of like-minded people who were willing to get involved in the community where they do business.
Lissa is active in the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), ActUP and the Women in Business organizations. She is one of the 2001 gfn.com 25, a listing by the Gay Financial Network of the 25 most influential out gay and lesbian executives in corporate America.
