Born and raised in Chicago, Nathan began appearing in theatre, commercials and television shows at the age of eight. A classically trained dancer, Nathan continued to perform and study at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After college, he attended The George Washington University Law School where he was the president of the Student Bar Association, a Dean's Fellow and the recipient of the GW Law Alumni Association Award for Outstanding Scholarship and Leadership.

He is in a committed relationship with Keith Boykin since 2002. In 2003, Nathan launched his own entertainment practice and production company, the iN-Hale Entertainment. In the fall of 2003, Nathan made his New York fashion week debut and signed with MEGA Management. Nathan is an award-winning film and television producer, entertainment attorney, actor and former model. A commentator on the arts, entertainment and culture, Nathan was recently named Arts & Entertainment editor of The Daily Voice, Black America's premier daily online news source.

Nathan WilliamsIn 2004, Nathan made several appearances on the CBS daytime television series The Guiding Light, and he was cast in a lead role in the award-winning independent feature film, The Ski Trip, written and directed by Maurice Jamal . The Ski Trip made history as the first black gay movie on television when it aired on MTV Networks' LOGO Network in July 2005. Nathan and his life partner Keith Boykin made television history as the first black gay couple on reality TV when they appeared on Showtime's American Candidate.

Currently, Nathan and his producing partner, Crystal McCrary Anthony, are working on several projects, including the television series Swans. They are also in pre-production for three feature films based on the best selling and acclaimed novels: All The Women I've Loved by Byron Harmon, for which Nathan adapted the screenplay; Homecourt Advantage by McCrary Anthony and Rita Ewing; and, Passing, by Harlem Renaissance laureate Nella Larsen.

Williams is a member of various legal professional associations and a member of the board of the Harlem United Community AIDS Center. Nathan resides with Keith in New York City and is a proud member of the board of directors of Harlem United Community AIDS Center.
