Nuba fighters


This picture was taken in 1949 by George Rodger (British - * 1908 + 1995), and is of two members of the Nuba tribe (Africa - Sudan - Kordofan).

The Nuba's tribal sport is wrestling, and this picture shows a nude champion being celebrated on the shoulders of another wrestler.
