Manfed Lewins' Book - Cover

Translation "Do you remember when..." Manfred recorded the turbolent times of his youth in this 17-page small, hand-made book that he gave to his Jewish friend and lover, Gad Beck, just before being deported. Gad, a holocaust survivor who lives again in Berlin, in 1999 donated the precious booklet to the United States Holocaust Museum. This booklet illustrates the daily life of the two lovers, theit youth group, and the culture in which they lived. © United States Holocaust Memorial Museum
